Parasite of Tragedy

I look in the mirror, a parasite of tragedy,
Those blunt eyes, a progeny of parody;

I watch the sun sway across the heaven,
Letting life slip away into oblivion;

A satire at the hands of the mighty,
Digging into the despot's heart for Sobriety;

The Abominable child of Tyranny,
A congregation of morbid Irony;

Unholy, perditioned, a bouquet of untold stories,
Impeded, shackled, a repertoire of unending miseries;

So has been a forsaken apathetic life,
A procrastinated ever failing strife;

Still amongst the shadows of light death eludes,
Escaping my prying eyes with hope it colludes......

This poem got published in the NEWS paper. I did not approach the publishers, they did it on their own.
